Welcome to Empty Hands Dojo

Empty Hands Dojo is located at 606 McLarty Road in Oxford, Mississippi. For those of you somewhat familiar with Oxford, McLarty Road is right next to the McDonalds on University Avenue.

Our school has been in continuous operation offering Shotokan Karate-Do for over twenty years. I also offer Close Contact sessions, integrating techniques from Judo, Brazilian Jui-Jitsu, and other throwing and grappling styles. Iado (Japanese sword) Bo staff, and basic self defense are available in private sessions.

Shotokan is offered to those over the age of seven in separate youth and adult sessions. Close Contact is for those over the age of sixteen. Shotokan classes meet each Monday and Wednesday, and Friday. Youth classes are held at five o'clock. Adult Shotokan is held at six o'clock. Close Contact meets on Mondays and Wednesdays at seven.
